RIVAFLO 2.5 Tablet 10’s rivaflo 2. 5 Tablets 10’s are a prescription medication used for the prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), two serious conditions related to blood clots. Each tablet contains 2. 5 mg of the active ingredient, apixaban, which is a direct factor Xa inhibitor. This medication works by blocking the action of factor Xa, an essential clotting factor in the coagulation cascade, thereby reducing the risk of blood clots forming or growing larger.
