Elosone HT Cream combines three active ingredients—Hydroquinone (2%), Mometasone Furoate (0.1%), and Tretinoin (0.025%)—to treat melasma, a condition that causes dark brown patches on the face. Hydroquinone works by decreasing melanin production, gradually lightening dark areas and pigmentation. Mometasone, a corticosteroid, reduces redness, swelling, and itching by suppressing inflammatory chemicals in the skin. Tretinoin, a retinoid, accelerates skin cell renewal, helping exfoliate the outer layers and allowing even-toned skin to surface. Leeford Healthcare manufactures this prescription-only cream, and it is intended for short-term use under medical supervision. Apply this cream once daily at night to clean, dry skin on the affected areas only, avoiding contact with eyes, nose, and mouth. Strictly follow sun-avoidance measures while using this product; apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily and wear protective clothing when outdoors.
